- By bus from Teneriffe, take the 199 bus from Macquarie St. stop 15, to Adelaide St. stop 44
- By ferry, take the CityCat from the Teneriffe Ferry Terminal and get off at Riverside Ferry Terminal, or QUT Gardens Point, or North Quay
Indooroopilly Shopping Town is an iconic suburban shopping mall that has been going since 1971
- By bus, initially take a bus (Route 199) from stop 15 on Macquarie st. to the Cultural Centre bus station, platform 2, and get on a second bus (Route 454) to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre
Outdoor Adventure
- Riverlife Adventure Center is the place for kayaking and rock climbing, right in the city
